Pokemon Colosseum Walkthrough - Page 3
Pyrite Town
Overview: Pyrite Town is a rundown and very dirty town full of troublemakers and thieves. There's going to be a lot of trouble here. There's no Pokemon Center in Pyrite Town, so you'll have to settle for the Super Grand Hotel. There, you can heal your Pokemon for $100. Soon enough, they're going to charge you for breathing air.
Guide: When you arrive in Pyrite Town, take note of the location of the Fortune Teller. You will have to meet her later. Then, visit the Chief of Police: Sherles. After having a nice chat with him, save at the PC in his office. Then, head out to Dual Square (funny, looks more like a circle to me...), where several trainers await you, and almost all of them have Shadow Pokemon!
After you finish up in the Dual Square, continue north and talk to the bulky man outside the Pyrite Colosseum. Listen to what he says and go visit Fateen, the fortune teller. Now it's time to visit the Duking, who can be found in the house south of the Super Grand Hotel. Afterwards, go to the bookcase on the left and press the secret button. Naturely, it opens a secret passage. The passage leads to an underground room where you must talk to a group of children. Then, go back to the Colosseum and talk to the guy inside. After you finish talking to all the people mentioned above (which takes quite a while, believe me!), you are free to leave town! That is, if that stupid trainer was not standing in your way! Show him who's boss, also while catching his lv. 33 Furret (Shadow Pokemon).
Beating him will trigger a cut-scene. Watch it, then start your trek up to the Windmill (located left of the bridge), and enter it. Talk to the man inside, then exit town. Go to the Construction Lot, where you will find the gear you need. In the northeast corner you should find it. It's shiny and rather big; you can't miss it! Exit the Construction Lot and head back to Pyrite Town. Once you're back inside the Windmill, open your inventory, select the gear, and the Windmill begins to work once again.
Afterwards, visit the Colosseum and save your game. Then, enter the Knockout Challenge. If you have a few Pokemon at lv. 30 or higher, you'll have no trouble in beating all of the other contestants. Note: None of the trainers in Challenge One have Shadow Pokemon. Once you are finished, head out of the Colosseum.
When you try to cross the bridge, a trainer stops you and a door to the hideout opens. Battle him and catch his lv. 33 Yamma (Shadow Pokemon). Then, Duking and the children you saw earlier will meet you. It seems that their Plusle has been stolen and you have to retrieve it for them!
Tip: After you snag a Shadow Pokemon, save at Chief Sherles's Office, and heal your Pokemon at the Super Grand Hotel.
